Bringing down social barriers Aashirwad

In the late 1989, eight young women under the leadership and guidance of Margaret Devadasan formed a group that they named Aashirwaad. Margaret, a Christian, knew a thing or two about Christmas decorations and created this unique group from all religions, cultures and caste. As they worked towards economic self-sufficiency as equals, all other differences disappeared under Margaret’s mentoring care. Her death came as a blow and the group started to disintegrate. This is when CRC took over operations and shifted the group to its own offices. Under direct supervision and guidance of CRC designers, the group got fresh inspiration; its sampling scope was increased. Today, Aashirwaad is a syncretic group working in perfect harmony; producing delightful gifts and decoratives.
