Finished leather is crafted into various shapes and sizes of bags, wallets, purses while block-printed colourful articles are made from E.I. tan leather. Shanti leather, using a technique brought to Shantiniketan from Japan by the Nobel laureate, Rabindranath Tagore, has spawned a captivating array of products. Environmental concern dominates CRC’s intervention in this space and enthuses craftspersons to use vegetable tan leather, eco-friendly leather, often mixed with organic canvas.

Koushal Charma uses a variety of leather to create a fascinating range. It is doubly rewarding because it brings a steady income to upwards of 200 families.
